Strategic Marine introduces the new Hybrid Variant of Generation 4 Fast Crew Boat

Strategic Marine has introduced the new Hybrid Variant of Generation 4 Fast Crew Boat (FCB), also known as the Gen 4 Hybrid.

The optimised hull form of the new Gen 4 can now be combined with the efficiency of its hybrid system which will allow the vessel to further reduce its carbon footprint through reductions in fuel consumption during operations.

This announcement comes on the back of the recent signing of a quartet of Hybrid Crew Transfer Vessels (CTVs), being the first Parallel Hybrid Technology CTVs to be built in Asia.

Strategic Marine's Chief Executive Officer, Eng Yew Chan mentioned:

"Strategic Marine will blaze the trail towards greener maritime operations through our product offerings. This new hybrid variant is the first Fast Crew Boat to incorporate hybrid technology and builds upon its other notable features such as Gyro-Stabilisation. With the emphasis on sustainable and low carbon emissions, we continuously play part to this cause for the larger maritime sector."
